Scottish Cotton Canvas H340 150D RPET Ripstop

The Chi Chi features a CNC-milled buckle made from 7-series aircraft-grade aluminium, and YKK zips with chunky metal sliders. It has a large zip opening, an internal zip pocket, and a separated internal laptop sleeve (fits up to a 16” MacBook). Quick-access external zip pocket, plus a large external organiser pocket with a removable key clip. Finished with an adjustable shoulder strap and a removable shoulder pad.

Made from approximately 50% recycled fabrics, exterior: Scottish Cotton Canvas H340 Herringbone, interior: 150D RPET Ripstop. Any issue with the fabrics, trims or hardware on this bag, please go to our repairs page.

Scottish Cotton Canvas H340 150D RPET Ripstop

A cotton canvas made in Scotland Dundee, by Halley Stevensons - who have been making waxed canvas fabrics since 1864. The fabric features a soft brushed herringbone weave, completed with an 'aero' finish. A special dry wax coating that offers the water resistant properties of a traditional waxed coating without the waxy feel. The fabric will offer a soft aged appearance, keeping all the character of natural cotton.

Made from 100% BCI cotton, the canvas is a natural fabric. BCI refers to the ‘Better Cotton Initiative', which works to improve the sustainability of cotton farming. They apply strict rules from farming standards, soil health, pesticides through to social & working standards.

A lightweight recycled polyester fabric with a ripstop weave. The ripstop grid helps boost tear resistance and adds a subtle textured feel. It’s water resistant and made from 100% recycled PET bottles, and it’s mainly used as the lining inside our bags.
