A lightweight technical fabric originally developed for the South Korean military, the FD Crimped Poly is soft to the touch, with a very matte texture, and is extremely water-resistant. The crimped yarn increases its abrasion resistance and also gives the fabric a small amount of mechanical stretch.
The FD Crimped Poly has a Hydrostatic Head Rating of 10,000mm, meaning it has been tested to withstand a column of water 10 meters high before water penetrates through the fabric. It also has a high breathability rating of 15,000g/m²/24h, helping maintain comfort and dryness during sweaty activities like trail running, hiking, or commuting home on the tram.
